Robots and machinery?! Yes, please. Casting aside logic and reality, you can get a look into an imaginary factory staffed by robot workers.
This whimsical collage is the result of my participation in 2017's March of Robots. It all started with one lone robot on a white background and quickly progressed into a collage of robots and machinery. Each day, one new robot joined the party...along with some gadgets and gizmos. If you look closely, you'll find a numbered robot for each day of March. Can you find all 31?
***What is March of Robots?
Every year in the month of March, artists around the world celebrate their love of all things robotic during Chocolate Soop's MARCH of ROBOTS (marchofrobots.com). The goal is to be part of an online community and draw a new robot illustration each day for 31 days. Check out my Instagram feed to see the collage as it progressed: @remnantsbyrj.
(Handdrawn with Staedtler triplus fineliner 0.3mm pens. Reprinted on 51lb Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte with Epson pigment inks. Each print is signed on the back and comes in a protective sleeve with a sturdy chipboard piece for added backing/protection. Frame not included.)
